Wording your wedding invitations, while important, is not such a difficult task, especially since most print shops have numerous examples for you to choose from. Many invitations begin with a Bible verse or romantic quote. This is often followed by the names of the parents of both the bride and groom who “Invite you to the wedding ceremony of their children…” In large letters in the middle of the invitation, are printed the names of the bride and groom, drawing attention to the true focus of the event. The date is next with all the numbers written out. After this, the location is listed. Finally, information about the reception is listed. The wording may be something like, “After the ceremony, the newlyweds will receive their guests at…” The name and location where the reception will be held is provided. The wording mentioned here is only one of many options. What is important is that the wedding announcements provide the necessary information about the ceremony in a way that reflects your personality.
