Some spouses start to abuse substances or some sort and may even turn to abuse. Some couples would be much better off getting a divorce so they can move on with their lives and be happy. Unfortunately for many couples, they are never able to enjoy this happiness.
For some reason, a lot of men feel the need to physically and mentally abuse their wives and children. It’s usually the man who is abusive although some women are that way too. Weaker people in these men’s families are subjected to his abuse. To make it all worse, many of them drink to excess which really turns them into raging monsters. Many women can do nothing but watch as their husbands take their anger out on their children, because they would undoubtedly be next if they spoke up. Instead of leaving to get free from the abuser they stay out of fear that things will get worse if they try to leave. There is never a reason to stay in a bad marriage like this, because there is help for the abused spouse.
Infidelity can also be a problem in relationships. Emotional problems typically result for the one wronged by his or her spouse. There’s no way this person’s self-esteem can survive the evidence that their spouse apparently prefers someone else. If you’re in this situation, talking to a marriage coach can be quite helpful in learning that you aren’t at fault for the situation.
