Make up for your wedding
day
All about you
Your wedding day is the most important day of
your life. It is the day, which is also going to change
the rest of your life. It is the day that is going to be
all about you, your man, your life, your vows, your gown,
your hair and your make-up. All eyes are going to be on
you, all cameras are also going to be on you, so you have
to look the best you have ever looked for this special
day. Make-up plays a very important part of your wedding
attire. It helps in making you look your best, from the
pretty smile to that healthy glow…it’s all about the
make-up
Skin and
glow
Your skin is the most important feature of your
face. If you are blessed with good skin, half your work
is done. If you have troublesome skin, like sunspots or
acne then you just have to work hard at making your skin
glow. Your skin is an important part of your make-up for
your wedding day. It is what will make you glow and look
like the happy bride. Make sure your skin is soft to
touch and easy to handle, for this it is important that
you use a good moisturizer. For those with oily skin, it
is important that you do not aggravate your skin and make
it oilier. Oily skin becomes very difficult to handle and
will hamper with the make-up for your wedding day. If you
go for regular facials, go for your last one before your
wedding day, at least one month in advance. Good skin
will lead to flawless make-up.
Once your skin care is taken care of, you have
to get a good base. Use an oil based foundation as this
will help prevent against your make-up wearing off and
will decrease the chances of smudging and blotching. Your
foundation should give a barely-there look. After you
have applied foundation carefully, it is not to blush
like the lovely bride that you are. It is preferable to
use powder blush as this stays longer than cream based
blush.
The sparkle in
your eyes
They say, the eyes are the
windows to your soul, and as clichéd as it may sound, it
is true. Your eyes show the emotion you are feeling. So
if you are happy, your eyes will show it. It is not good
to have tired eyes on your wedding day, as no amount of
make-up will help. Get a good 8 hours of sleep before
your wedding day. Avoid crying before applying make-up
for your wedding day, as this becomes difficult to
conceal and will lead to smudges. Do not pluck, thread or
wax your brows on your wedding day, it could lead to
redness which becomes difficult to conceal. Use layering
of eye shadow for a good effect and use at least 2 coats
of mascara to open up your eyes on your wedding day. You
could also use eye-liner or kohl for a more dramatic look
depending on the kind of wedding you are
having.
